Canada Topflight Academy Welcomes Sham Francois to the Coaching Staff

Canada Topflight Academy is excited to welcome SHAM FRANCOIS as our Student Support Coordinator (SSC) for our Senior Red / National Gold program for the 2023-24 season.
Coach Sham will offer 1:1 support and guidance to Canada Top Academy Gold and Red student athletes. The guidance and interactions will cover general matters and will offer specific support with their school engagement, bridging the gap of communication between CTA’s leadership team, parents, coaches and players in regards to basketball and life matters on and off the court.

The CTA SSC will ensure each player is holding themselves accountable during the season. Sham is Graduate from Algonquin College and Carleton University with extensive knowledge and experience in child and youth counseling and works closely with youth in different capacities. Sham has played basketball and football growing up in Ottawa andh his skill level has transferred from high school to university level. Sham has coached youth in basketball and has provided mentorship programming to inner-city high-risk youth along the way.
