CTA Welcomes Coach Mbayo for the 2023-24 season!

Canada Topflight Academy is excited to welcome Coach MOTAYO MBAYO to our CTA Jr program for the 2023-24 season.
Motayo played his high school basketball at Samuel Genest where he won 2 City Championships as a Senior and also attended a AA OFFSSAA Championship. After a successful high school career he attended La Cite Collegiale for 2 years. Coach Mateo would then head overseas to play Semi-Pro in France and Germany, but his pro career was cut short due to injury.

Motayo started as an Assistant Coach at Samuel Genest and Omer Deslaurier for their Junior and Senior team just before covid. Most currently he's coached Team Believe as an Assistant Coach and skills coach for both the U19 and U17 teams. Motayo also coached at Ridgemont High School the 2022 season. Coach Mbayo has been heavily invested in the basketball community the last 5-6 years and is hoping to do more for the sport he enjoys!
