Academic Excellence
Through Notre Dame High School, St. Pius X High School and the Ottawa Catholic School Board, CTA student-athletes receive a strong academic foundation that prepares them for a wide range of postsecondary opportunities.

CTA is one of only two nationally sponsored Nike basketball programs. Every player receives an outstanding Nike package that includes:

Elite Competition
CTA provides its student-athletes with opportunities to compete on some of the most respected basketball platforms in Canada and the United States.
- CTA is the only Ottawa program competing in the PLATINUM Circuit, an exclusive circuit featuring many of the top prep programs in the country. Games are livestreamed and archived on Topflight TV, maximizing exposure for CTA student-athletes.
- CTA is the only Ottawa boys’ program competing in the Ontario Scholastic Basketball Association.
- CTA is the only Canadian prep program competing in the Elite Prep League, one of the leading prep basketball platforms in the United States. Learn more at www.eliteprepleague.com.
- CTA Junior Academy competes at the highest levels of junior basketball in Canada through the National Junior Circuit and the OSBA High Performance Development League.
- The CTA schedule also includes exhibition games, tournaments and showcase events throughout Canada, with potential opportunities to compete in the United States.

CTA has more than 20 years of experience in sports marketing, media and public relations. Our teams and student-athletes are promoted across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms.

Personalized Recruiting Support
CTA staff work directly with student-athletes and their families throughout the recruiting process. We help athletes develop their player profiles, communicate with university and college coaches, identify suitable opportunities and prepare for the transition to postsecondary basketball.
CTA has a strong record of helping players advance to every level of postsecondary competition, including the NCAA, U Sports, NJCAA and CCAA.
Club and AAU Connections
CTA recognizes the importance of club and AAU basketball and will work collaboratively with each student-athlete’s existing program whenever possible.
Our staff have relationships with many leading Canadian basketball organizations, including Ottawa Elite, Evolution, Out the Mud, Dream Canada, UPLAY Canada, Grassroots Elite, CIA Bounce, Canada Elite and Brookwood Elite. When required, we can also help student-athletes identify appropriate club opportunities.

Ottawa is a safe, welcoming and basketball-rich community. The city is home to two of the country’s leading university basketball programs at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, creating an outstanding environment for aspiring student-athletes.
